Chill out man lol, i was just throughing my 2 cents out there about L&M, i didnt have the answer to ur question until i read racerx.com this morning. I wasnet trying to bash on the team (isnt there alot of that going on today???) but give my opinion of they way they work from what i heard. Yeah i read his quote earlier about leaving on good terms and i think thats cool that it went that way, nobody likes to come outta of situation in a fight. I simply said that i dont know what really happened but from what i heard the way they let the riders go was pretty weird to me.

oh and for all you that are bashing L&M here is a direct quote from Nate's interview:

Previously you seemed disappointed with the way you learned about the L&M team plans for 2009 – any final comment on that situation?
I had four great years with Larry (Brooks) and consider him to be a good friend. In our last interview it was very tough for me to talk about it. Larry had his reasons for not resigning me – we don’t have to agree on everything. He’s a businessman doing what he has to do; maybe I could have looked out for myself a little bit better. Larry treats his riders great. Now someone else is there, and they have that opportunity. I’m happy to have had what I had with him. He taught me so much.

so i just read the racer X "Monday conversation" and this is a quote from Nate ramsey in the interview.... "When we spoke, I was prepared to go either way; as much as I wanted to race this year, I wasn’t going to force it. So I am retiring."
This is a great loss but he was great for the sport and probably still will be! Good Luck Nate!!!

dude have you even read anything that i wrote????? cause not once did i mention anything about L&M or how any of the deals or how they conduct their business!!!! ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS IF "CR" KNEW IF NATE RAMSEY IS RIDING THIS YEAR!!! so if no one knows how anything actually went down, besides the rumors, then nobody besides CR or Nate Ramsey should be talking about it! so again all i want to know is if CR knows if Nate is riding this year or not! But actually i guess i can just check out the racer X "Monday Conversation # 53" to find out cause nobody can respond to anything properly!

Like chad said there is stuff that goes on behind every team that nobody will ever see or hear about unless your part of that team. Just the way it works, like with other sports too! Nobody, other than chad knows what exactly went down or how L&M works but after hearing about chad hearing he lost his ride via email and ramsey losing his ride on the internet, to me from hearing about these 2 stories, it sounds like the 2 that run that team are some shady people. Idk maybe i'm wrong, but from being an outsider of the team it doesnt sound like its a place that somebody could trust.

yeah i know. but it still never said anything if he was gonna race this year or just hang it up! nate did say that if he didnt get a ride that he would consider retirement, but that would suck cause i know he has a few years left and he is just such a great guy for the sport!!!

I just got the new racerx magazine the other day in the mail, and the pages of riders quotes and stuff ramsey made a comment about what he was gonna do and racerx said N8 heard he lost his job on the internet!

hey CR, so what happened to Nate? I haven't seen his name on any of the team rosters. My wife and I think that Nate is a great guy and we would love to see him again in the pits! If he is retiring we are sad to see him go!!

chick.22.fan the whole story would shock a lot of people! so lets not talk about the "whole" story....and i could of went and rode factory yamaha if i wanted to....dont know who you are but with full respect you have no idea what happened with me and L&M or you wouldnt be saying that about L&M

dont say that. you dont know the whole story. larry brooks is a close friend to my family. Chad couldn't ride with yamaha becuase of L&M.

Josh was a yamaha stablemate, not a team mate, like Josh, Hill, wonder if he will be racing this up coming season.

Dude you hit the nail right on the head! L&M is Screwed up Larry brooks was nice to me in Vegas But I guess he was a panzy to Chad and Nathan

I think windham will have a decent year if he gets off to a good start early on in the season.

I don't think we will see much from Windham this season, the other three should make things real interesting and close in points, unless someone has a bad accident and misses some races. that's the only reason Stewart was close to Reed in points last year becaus of daytona and that bad practice crash, and a few odd crashes here and there.

Stewart, Reed, Windham, and Villapoto should get interesting this SX season.

ramsey is pretty much done with supercross screwed over by l&m he is pretty much prepared too retire now

Ramsey got screwed over by San manuel, they verbally agreed for him to ride this year then Bubba came along and wanted his boyfriend Kyle Chisholm on the team so ramsey got hung out to dry and no time to look for a new team because most of the rosters were already full.

Actually ramsey was his old teammate. Anybody know what he's doing this year? Did he retire? I dont remember hearing anything about him for the 09 season.
