James still has his Kawasaki Contract to forfil so he will ride nationals on that bike, next year who knows, L&M sounds more and more like whats happened weather they keep blue bikes who knows. i dont think it will be like 04 when RC let it out that he was moving to Suzuki while still riding Honda in Another Perfect MX Season. As per Normal US Open will tell and show all for sure, cant hide it in Vegas LOL

I would hope chad don't ride anything other then blue, JGR would be a good place for him IMHO

and does this mean james will be on a yamaha next season? what about JS for motocross season??

Chad, whatever U R on, U will do awesome. Loved the interview...laughed my butt off at times. Will miss U outdoors. Nice to hear how proud U R about AUS. U R doing a good thing there. Best of luck & have fun on the practice bike until you get something in ink!

im hearing ya pete since we moved into our new house we cancelled our foxtel subscription so now i see no sx action. saw the whole 08 series except for vegas and still aint seen it. hating it. gotta wait for bar to bar 08.

yeah what gets me is ambrose goes to US to drive Nascar so Ten now give us Nascar on HD ( free to air basicly) Reed, McFarland, Metcalfe and now Reardon to name the Bignames are giving the Yanks what for in the US and still only Foxtel shows replays, Hopefully the AUS SX will open more eyes to it, as it is my wife made me cancel my Pay TV due to the money i spend on Bikes and gear so i only get to see all the AMA SX by downloading the Speed or CBS coverage same day from friends over there.

Yeah you should, if your not outside on a Sunday (its a catch 22).lol..RPM sunday has had a feature on Chad each week since his crash/shoulder injury..& even an interview a fortnight ago. Kind of tracking his title chase progress (as we all were tho!) However its always been a week behind. Just like payTV. Thats why it was a surprise they had the Story about his contract on yesterday.. True it could be a rehashed version of DMXSradio's interview. Although i have never heard it(all links r blocked on my PC)..the Racerhead20 recollection fills in some blanks..
SX/MX on TV: O dont get me wrong most TV is ming numbing stuff an the free to air stations are pretty docile beasts, i agree with about this, but Supercross coverage/news is getting better! Maybe the stories on Chad were just too juicy considering the adversity associated with latest title. Winning the 08 WSXGP/AMA Championship, plus the efforts in previous years & the new SX series venture will only benifit the Sport in Australia. props to Chad on all counts!!..

O an Chad on a Zuk eeewww!! You only go to Team Banana if your desperate or have something to prove.lol. Anyway was just quierying the RPM story. Chad is usually fairly exclusive when talking to the Aust. media, i doubt channel 10 would make it up for national TV.

hopefully with a AMA/World SX champ coming down under to run a series the media will get involved and bring it to the public....

Yeah i'm glad i have foxtel, so i can see Chad race. Otherwise i would of missed out on some awesome racing. But yeah channel ten or someone needs to show it for free.

jerrymac42-channel 10 could of just heard the interview on dmxs or something and just spun it out to make a story. might have to start watching RPM sounds like they might be expanding into all aspects of motorsport not just the run of the mill car and boat stuff like everyone else....about time MX/SX got some coverage here it is one of the most exciting motorsports but what do we see of it here??? not much unless you have austar/foxtel......australian media needs to get with it and show more of this sport we have so many riders mixing it up with the best in the world and yet no big news stories.....but some idiot that does stupid stuff can get hours of news coverage and spots on reality tv?????? what is the world coming to..........

On RPM sunday (channel 10 here in Australia) Yesterday 18/05, they had a new story on Chad not being resigned with L&M for 09 as they have signed James Stewart. They aslo said that Chad was now in talks with JGR..

Ive been searching the net this morning for any official press releases, but cant find anything. This is my first ever post, so go easy.. I hav also read that L&M have no contracted OEM manufacturer at this stage.. I am guessing but with all the talk & rumors ive read today plus what i saw on the TV yest, L&M may be supported by Suzuki for 09. Hence Reed Switching to JGR, to remain with Yamaha.

Unsure how channel 10 can run a story here in Australia, before anywhere else has ****?? I has to be true, SX/MX news is never on TV in Aust unless its big news.
