What
Hapens
to
Chads
bikes
every
year?
do
they
sell
them
off?
or
scrap
them?
I
would
love
to
buy
one
:)

I
think
if
he
dos
good
they
keep
it
in
a
case.
And
there
has
never
been
a
year
were
he
has
done
worse
than
3rd
place
overall.

Thanks

guys
and
especially
Chads,
I
didn't
realize
they
changed
out
parts
so
often
until
I
read
it
in
the
June
issue
of
'Dirt

wow,
it
blew
me

I
would
guess
that
the
reason
that
they
would
not
let
Chad
keep
the
bike,
is
probably
due
to
intellectual
property
rights.
If
for
whatever
reason
yamaha
and
Chad
split
up
through
the
next
year,
he
could
then
theoretically
sell
the
bike,
or
let
the
new
team
he
moves
to
'have
a
look
at
it'
to
find
what
improvements
could
be
carried
onto
the
new
teams
(not
saying
he
would
do
it,
but
the
team
will
protect
itself
just
in
case).
Theoretically
that
could
be
done
by
use
of
patents
etc,
but
if
it
is
just
changing
things
like
bore/
stroke
ratio
or
rod
/
stroke
ratio,
or
valve
grinds
and
cam
profiles
and
finding
a
good
combination,
you
dont
want
anyone
to
know
that.
I
miss
the
2t's
too.
The
silly
thing
is
they
canned
the
2t's
because
they
were
inefficient,
so
everyone
moves
to
highly
strung,
larger
4t
engines
that
use
only
slightly
less
fuel,
and
they
take
more
energy
(read
emissions)
to
produce.
Go
figure.

4

rule.....chuck
in

clean
the

cleaner
and
away
you
go....where
as
2

you
have
to

all

etc.......my
4
stroke
was
pulled
down
after
18
months
of
racing
before
i
got
it
and
it
was
a
waste
of
time
you
could
still
see
the
factory
hone
marks
in
the
bore
the
piston
looked
like
new.......i
would
rather
work
on
the

really
there
is
no
work
to
do
on

on

i
can
see
why
chad
doesnt

hte
2

cuz
my

06

feels
great
alil
heavier
but
all
in
all
it
felt
like
a
2stroke
with
a
450
motor
in
it.
but
i
still
love
the
ease
of
maintence

my

I
don't

any
of
you
are
familiar
with
the

100
in
Washington..
But
two
years
ago
we
were
there
it
was
one
of
the
biggest
starts
I
have
ever
seen.
over
850
riders
lined
the
dirt
road
standing
30
feet
back
ready
to
run,kick,go.
It
was
one
awesome
sound
hearing
and
wathcing
that
many
bikes
come
up
over
the
hill
roaring
like
theres
no
tomarrow!!!
We
had
over
3000
riders
in
the
poker
run
the
day
before...
What
a
ride!!

the
panic
rev
is
that
noise
heard
when
a
rider
hits
a
jump
squirly
and
the
air
time
dont
go
as
planned
and
the
rider
holds
the
throttle
wide
open....once
you
hear
a
panic
rev
you'll
know
and
now
with
the
thumpers
you
get
that
noise
as
the
bike
bounces
off
the
rev
limiter

it
is
amazing
how
quick
the
thumpers
have
basically
taken
over
the
MX
world
in
the
larger
bikes
125's
and
250
2
strokers
are
as
good
as
gone......which
is
a
bit
unfortunate
there
was
a
sound
like
no
other
a
field
of
40
125
2
strokers
revving
at
10,000rpm
down
the
start
straight
into
the
first
corner.....anyone
who
has
heard
it
will
know
what
i
mean
you
wont
hear
a
sound
like
that
anywhere
other
than
on
a
MX
track......but
the
thumpers
sound
pretty
good
too
with
40
of
them
at
full
throttle......and
the
panic
rev
sounds
better
on
the
thumpers
LOL

and
that
was
the

to

in
the

But
now
more
and
more
thumpers
are
being
used
at
the

say
they
are
like
chalk
and
cheese.
the
450
has
it
all
over
the
250
unfortuntaly.
i
used
to
find
the
250
would
almost
rip
my
arms
off
(maybe
i
was
riding
it
wrong
but
when
that
power
band
kicked
in
hang
on!!!)
and
now
the
450
delivers
that
power
strong
and
steady
its
so
much
more
rideable.
and
chad
as
if
they
dont
let
you
have
your
championship
winning
bike.
tight
asses.
they
did
an
interview
i
seen
with
rc
and
his
garage
was
loaded
with
bout
20
bikes
hondas
suzukis
and
stuff
so
why
you
not
get

did
than
i
rode

and
hated
it
haha
they
got
out
dated
over
night
it
was
really
crazy
we
all
thought
they
had
5
years
left
but
the
four
strokes
just
came
a
long
way
and
the
tracks
got
tamed
down
to
sissy
tracks
with
no
technical
whoops/jumps
the
berms
all
got
taken
away
so
the
4stroke
was
just
to
strong
on
flat
turns
for
the
2smoke
and
i
hated
the
05
bike
with
the
alloy
frame!
my
03/04
bikes
were
the
most
amazing
sx
bikes
ever
i
was
bummed
that
RC
got
hurt
that
year
cause
i
had
him
killed
on
my
bike
alone
he
was
so
mad
that
they
were
testing
yamaha
yz250s
at
the
honda
test
track
with
red
plastics
and
silver
duck
tape
on
the
frame
to
try
and
make
there
hondas
better
lol
was
funny
stuff
!
i
have
my
lites
bike
its
cool
my
practice
bikes
are
as
close
to
my
race
bikes
as
you
can
get
if
FL
i
test
on
them
im
a
rider
that
wants
the
bikes
the
same
and
when
we
test
the
new
stuff
has
to
go
on
the
practice
bike
right
away
if
theres
only
one
off
parts
i
wont
test
them
till
i
can
race
and
practice
with
them
keeps
from
getting
confused
i
think
i
have
never
had
anything
but
yamahas
i
have
never
brought
a
big
bike
here
in
the
states
RC
JS
and
I
could
all
still
put
the
2smoke
on
the
podium
but
it
would
be
alot
harder
the
way
the
tracks
are
now..........when
i
was
winning
alot
at
the
start
of
the
year
i
asked
yamaha
for
my
04
bike
to
race
at
vegas
but
i
sucked
and
crashed
to
much
so
vegas
was
a
real
race
for
me
lol

how

I
remember
Wayne
Gardner
saying
the
same
thing
about
Honda
when
he
won
his
title
in
1987,
Honda
Crush
the
old

so
nothing
can
be

somehow
after
some
serious
negotiation
he
got
