Chad don't have a ride next year ?????????

They said Chad don't have a ride next year, how can that be? He's #1, how long do we wait to see what he will do, and who will fight over him? I can't wait to see. I would Like to see Chad, J-Law and Josh team up next season for a 1,2,3 yamaha win streak on the 450's

Richrock, re-read whgat you just wrote buddy. Before you go throwing trash again, think about what you say. Reedy has a desire to give back to the sport and the country that helped him get to where he is right now, and for that anyone who says thats bullsh1t or that he is too scared to take on the nationals is a joke. When you get to the same elite level of such athletes and you live 24 hours a day in elite athlete mode, then after doing it for 20 odd years things change and focus changes as well, hence Carmichael etc.. thats how life is. just because he has decided to not ride nationals does not mean he couldn't get a ride or that he is scared, his priorities are just in the places that mean the most to him right now. and proving himself is not needed, he just won the SX titles. there is no doubt in anyones mind he will have a ride next year, its just a matter of finding the right ride that will suit his needs and give him the best shot at defending next years title.
before you go jumping about bubba, you might have noticed he is also taking an SX only contract next year, so if you feel that passionately about having to ride the nationals then feel free to go jump on bubba's site and pay out on him for that too, but dont expect to see any of us on there, cos we respect him for who he is and what he does just as much as reedy.
As for respect, in my oppinion respect should only be given where its deserved. and when you get the sh1t you yankies throw at Reedy cos you cant hack a non yanky winning then why would he want to respect them as much. Carmichael has to be the biggest girl in the business, as soon as the spot light aint on him then look out lets have a cry, but you dont hear us whinging about that do you? anyone in the top 4 over there consistantly is an exceptional rider, period. but to take the title, well then your the best out there that season. end of story.
next year will bring about a big change regardless, as every year does with new guys coming through, but even more so next year with the strength and speed of the new kids on the block. its pretty obvious Villopto has to be probably the most talented rider in the world at the moment, and dungey/lawrence are also doing very very well. i think its safe to say that EVERYONE (yes bubba, reedy, windham) will have a serious fight on their hands next year to stay at the top.. it does not however mean they deserve any less respect. its called evolution. welcome to life.

Some of you guys are really one eyed. Having seen Chad, Bubba and Carmichael race numerous times it really does come down to who was injured and the best on the day as previous season would prove. After all you can be the fastest on the day but you have to finish the season to win the title. All three are a cut above the rest and have had their fare share of injury. We should all appreciate how much they have raised the bar in SX.

But what is he going 2 put it on with no ride and didnt have the balls 2 prove him self in the nationals! Nobody wants 2 deal with a little baby who only wants 2 be contracted to SX. Wrong about putting the best out there BUBBA was not there whats that 6 motos so far m8!

man richrock crawl back under the rock you suddenly appeared from. youre comments are ill informed and heresay out of a magazine. every1 knows the media twist and turn things to sell their sh*t. and to say reed dont respect no one and should stay down under to race his 'level'. man....cmon. you yanks put up youre best riders in the sx this year and reed still won injured and all. so what does that say about his level? oh did you forget he has the no 1 ama sx plate for 08 . GAME OVER. two two we aussies have got your back always m8.

some of you guys that come on here to diss reedy are a bunch of tools.. the guy puts up a fansite for his 'fans' to come say g'day and interact, and you find the desire to come on and pay out on him about what you think of him and his titles, get a life. he's the one living in the US with a great set up, racing the AMA with two title plates and all the accolades and you aint. end of story. racing is racing and who's in the series that year is irrelevant, its not just about who is the fastest and has the most hype, racing takes being fit, having the right team support, being there for the season to win the points and obviously having the points at the end. its not chad's fault stewart enjoys sleeping in the dirt and had to bail this season, carmichael has done the same in the past, its racing, thats life, chad won, he is the best in 2008, and has proven year after year he is in that very small group of elite riders in the world that consistantly do very well with titles to prove it. this year he proved he was in the best form yet with the way he toyed with windham even injured he smashed him, yet still you people have the balls to pay out.
now if some people put two and two (no pun intended) together, you'd make a pretty easy conclusion about whats going on for next year. for the first time pro circuit will actually be hanging onto a rider into the 450s and as you can imagine, not too many brands/teams could afford to have a stewart and villopoto contracts on one team. villopoto is obviously taking the top spot with kawa which is no suprise (hopefully he knocks some of stewarts ego down from then on) and as such bubba is obviously looking for the other best spot, which unfortunately happens to be with l&m. chad's desire to help bring up the profile of sx and give back to its youngsters in australia is what australia loves about its athletes, and what we pride ourselves on. l&m using this against chad to say that he might not be focused enough on the u.s is a load of crap. but at the end of the day, chad has the ability and credential, and whether its with suzuki, honda or whatever don't matter, he'll be on top again. you yanky's need to show some respect for people other than yourselves, reed has never received anywhere near the respect he deserves stateside.
keep ya chin up chad, the aussies have your back.

I read in a article about a year ago regarding chad reed that motocross was 2 hard for him and that he would not compete in them. What i was saying is that Chad Reed would not be the champ this year if Bubba was racing. Next year if Reed wins with Bubba and Villopoto racing then he will get his props!

Chad Reed is not #1 Bubba is. Chad Reed should have maned up and raced motocross 2 prove he is a real CHAMP by racing bubba, millsap and alessi. Next year with bubba healthy and Villopoto going 2 450s chad reed wont be # 1 he's lucky this year!

Golden Fox dont hold false hope buddy, twotwo and L&M 100% wont be on next season thats been cleared up by Reedy and by the team and there web site too.
As long as twotwo and family are happy and the the team can bring it then should be a great season.
